Combo Tiny Terror Effects Loop

The effects loop for the Tiny Terror Combo is the same loop we've been installing on Tiny Terrors now for several years.

This is not a buffered loop. It is a simple zero-insertion loss loop. It works very well in the limited space in the Tiny Terror chassis, where there is no room to add a tube buffer. It has another advantage in that it makes absolutely zero change to the sound of the amp if nothing is inserted into the loop.

The effects loop does have two potentiometers, one for SEND and one for RECEIVE. Both of these are attenuators. They will let you reduce the level going from the amp to the effect and they will let you reduce the level coming from the effect to the amp. My advice is to start with both SEND and RECEIVE level full clockwise, and only attenuate when something sounds like it is being over-driven.

The effects loop for the Tiny Terror Combo mounts in a utiltiy box , on the right side of the amp. It is inside the speaker opening. This utility box is mounted to the metal chassis enclosure. Some care will have to be taken when you do future tube changes or for maintenance on the amp after this loop is installed. We give you plenty of room to get into the cover, but the utility box is still attached to the metal cover by a shielded cable.

If you decide to have us add this effects loop to your Tiny Terror Combo, please do not ship us your complete Tiny Terror Combo. Just send us the amp with the back (orange tolex) and the wooden bottom cover to the amp. This will save us both a lot of money on shipping.
