The biggest thrill for us is being in the audience while musicians create their art with our products. And great people are doing just that. You can click on most of these small images for larger pictures.

As a
Blues Man long ago said to Jule, "It ain't the notes. It's the silence between." Masters of the craft of Blues Chicago
Style, I present "The ToneQuesters." Rick Simcox is not just a great Blues Guitarist, he's a great guy. You will find two of his
songs in the "player" on the Sounds page.

A wonderful combination of old time Rock and Roll and fantastic new combinations, all the way from Helsinki Finland, my good
friend Mika Raasakka.

Bob Brozman
is a guitarist like no other: an established and prolific recording artist, performer, producer, and author, Bob is a non-stop world traveler and tireless researcher in ethnomusicology. His work with musicians from around the world in the past several years has marked him as not only a virtuoso musician and slide guitarist, but also as a pioneer in finding a common thread among global musical cultures. Bob is using the Brenda K. combo with his Rickenbacker Lap Steel. Amazing. You can find out more about Bob, including his touring schedule at his website.
Lucky Peterson
works the Praxis 100 at Telluride. The Blues Legend was raised on music in his hometown of Buffalo, New York. His father, James Peterson, was a blues singer and owner of the Governor’s Inn, a northern version of a Deep South “chitlin’ circuit” roadhouse club. Virtually growing up on stage, little Lucky began playing almost before he began talking. He started on drums, but after hearing the famed Bill Doggett one night, Lucky became fascinated by the huge Hammond B-3 organ. After some lessons from Doggett and the legendary Jimmy Smith, Lucky focused most of his musical energy on the organ. In his spare time, he also mastered guitar, bass and piano, becoming good enough to sit in with his father’s band and back touring artists like Lightin’ Hopkins and Jimmy Reed. Here is a link with his current schedule.
Chris Barber
of Spiv is a great player and a great guy. Spiv plays power pop modern rock 'n' roll with vocals and grooves infused with some wild mojo: a mix of white soul, punk anthems, bitter ballads and straight ahead pop rock and humor in the vein of Camper Van Beethoven and Primus. Calling the sound 'Brit-pop voodoo', Spiv's style is as diverse as it is creative, infusing solid musicianship with well crafted songsmithing. Spiv creates memorable melodies to deliver unpretentious social commentaries and songs about love and life's unpredictability, sometimes sincere and other times drenched in satire. His albums are produced with the radio and short attention spans in mind, delivering short bursts; most are tight arrangements averaging three minutes. In a live setting, he frees himself to push the boundaries of musical exploration and improvisation. Find out more about Spiv and hear some MP3's at Popsweatshop.com.
